What payment methods do you accept?
All orders placed over the internet must be paid for by credit or UK debit cards. You can find out which methods of payment a merchant accepts by adding the product to the basket, proceeding to checkout, and viewing the drop down 'card type' menu. We do accept payments by cheque or postal order but goods will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared, you cannot pay in instalments.
Which Credit and Debit Cards do you accept?
We accept Visa (including Delta) and MasterCard. Switch, Solo, Electron, Maestro and American Express.
Can I pay by cheque or postal order?
We can accept payment by these methods but goods will not be shipped until the cheque has cleared, we accept most major credit and UK debit cards.
What are the shipping rates?
You can find the charge by adding the product(s) to the basket and selecting your delivery destination. View our delivery map for shipping rates.
Do you ship goods to destinations outside of the UK?
Live Christmas trees cannot be shipped outside of the U.K. due to pest and disease contamination. Artificial trees, decorations, lights etc may be shipped. We will confirm shipping costs with you prior to dispatch. Call us on 0845 230 3663 if you have any queries.
Do I pay a delivery charge for each item?
All of our delivery rates are shown in the delivery options page. They are based on a single item. However, we try to box as many items together as possible. Bulk orders, pallets, multi-drop contracts and wholesale orders are priced on application.
Do you offer a next day delivery option?
Yes we do offer a Next Day option. All options are shown in our delivery information. Add the item you wish to purchase into the shopping basket where the estimated time scale (and cost) for delivery is displayed. The time-scale field may be a drop down menu with several options, if next day is available then it will be an option, once you make a selection the shipping charge will change automatically. If the time-scale information is not a drop down box, then we do not offer a quicker means of delivery.
What is VAT?
VAT is a statutory tax in the UK and EU, this is automatically removed for goods being delivered outside the European Union.
Can I nominate a date or time for delivery?
It is possible to nominate a preferred day but not a time, although a before noon option may be possible in certain areas.
What if I am at work when the courier tries to deliver?
If we have your permission we can leave your purchase in a secure or named place at the delivery address. This must be mentioned on the booking form as we cannot be responsible should the goods disappear. If you choose not to use this option the courier will leave a card to say they have attempted to deliver, this will include the local depot telephone number which you will need to call to re-arrange delivery of the order or collect it yourself. It may be an option to specify an alternative delivery address when ordering.
